About

This annotated scholarly digital edition of El Perú en sus tradiciones, en su historia, en sus artes proposes to facilitate the work of students and scholars interested in investigating the construction and circulation of national historical narratives in Peru in the 1920s. More broadly, this edition is offered as a unique resource for the study of Peruvian history and culture in general.

El Perú en sus tradiciones, en su historia, en sus artes was transcribed and annotated by a group of twenty undergraduate students in Fall 2013, working under the direction of Dr. Chad Leahy. The digital edition of this work was constructed as part of the Aurelius Digital Humanities initiative at Villanova University, and the project received funding from the Villanova Institute for Teaching and Learning (VITAL).
